My wife, Ricki passed away in 2021 and then, the kids all moved on to college. I was all alone in an empty house. I started drinking, playing video games, and working all the time just to keep myself busy. One day, my middle child, Mati asked me, "Why don't you paint anymore?". I told her that I got rid of all my paintings because life happened. When I got married and we had kids I didn’t have time for my painting anymore. Christmas of 2022, Mati asked me to come over. The kids gave me three blank canvases and art supplies and below is what saved my life.
